We are currently recruiting for an Early Help Birth-19 Manager to work with Tower Hamlets. You will be required to manage a multi-disciplinary team to support vulnerable families to access and engage with Family Support Services through a locality model of working.
Responsibilities:
- To lead and directly line manage a team that works with children, young people and their families from Birth to 19 (up to age 25 if they have SEND) as part of a group of manager to ensure that app
- Provide clear professional advice in line with social care legislation and best practice, ensuring consistency. On occasions to co-work with team members where the problems presented are consistently challenging and complex and require advanced levels of skill and knowledge

- Propose and help implement service improvements within the team plan to improve the outcomes for children, young people and families
- To be responsible for the allocation of work and implementation of service delivery and operational standards, policy and procedures for the service
- To be responsible for specific lead areas e.g. homelessness, community safety, anti-social behaviour; and to support staff, including where required, provide training in their lead areas.
- To take a lead with the step up/down of cases to/from Children Social Care and support with any safeguarding issues, where necessary provide challenge to ensure that the right support is being provided at
Location: Mulberry Place, Tower Hamlets
Hourly rate: £27.11
